Ada Ko Wong

Attorney

I am a California native and received my B.A. in Communication from the University of California, Davis. After graduation, I worked at Heller Ehrman LLP in its San Francisco headquarters until its dissolution in late 2008. I received my J.D. with a Dispute Resolution Concentration in 2012 from the University of Washington School of Law.

While at UW School of Law, I served as Executive Managing Editor of Production on the Pacific Rim Law & Policy Journal. I was also very active in Moot Court competitions and represented UW at the Thomas Tang International Moot Court Competition as a regional semi-finalist in both Los Angeles and Atlanta. I continued to serve as a coach for mock trial and appellate advocacy teams at the law school after graduation.

During law school, I also interned at the Seattle City Attorney’s Office, Civil Division; U.S. Attorney’s Office; Sacramento District Attorney’s Office; and with Judge Andrea Darvas of the King County Superior Court.

After graduating from law school, I worked at a plaintiff’s litigation firm in Bellevue, Washington as a Civil Litigation Attorney. A few years later, I joined a Seattle, Washington plaintiff's litigation firm as a Civil Litigator.  In 2015, I founded my own firm, AKW Law, advocating for those who have been wronged.

While I am not working, you can find me playing volleyball and flag football, reading about interpersonal communication, volunteering with various executive boards and committees, or hanging out with my husband and 3 cats (Matcha, Soba, and Kylo).
